What did Dracula (from Lancashire), a Spider lady from Sheffield, a Caller from Humberside, and a Witch and Wizard from Yorkshire have in common? - They all came to White Rose Squares Halloween Dance, along with thirty more other-worldly beings masquerading as square dancers!

What a fun evening we were treated to under the lively calling of Philip Mee, modelling the ''escape convict'' look, and who kept everybody on their toes.

Top marks for attendance goes to Wolds Weavers for their support, though they did seem to have an imposter in the form of a man who, remarkably, was still able to dance despite a knife appearing to go through his head!

A spooky supper was enjoyed by all, and we were both thrilled and surprised at how much effort everyone had made to dress in a spooktacular fashion - all (as they say) in the best possible taste!

Thanks to everyone who came.
